Screening

To determine if you are eligible for the study, we will ask you to come for a screening visit. The visit includes an interview about your psychiatric health with a trained clinician. You will also be asked to complete several questionnaires.

Eligibility decisions may take 1-2 weeks. Those meeting all eligibility criteria will be contacted to set up study appointments.

Learning task

Participants will be asked to take part in an associative learning task. The task uses neutral visual stimuli (faces, shapes) paired with mild electric shocks. The level of shock will be determined by the participant and is not painful.

Participants need only to pay attention to the relationship between the pictures they see and the shocks they feel.
